Body Fats Myth Debunked
There are many body fats myths out there that do not withstand the scrutiny of scientific research. Let me share with you some of these common body fats myths and hopefully we are able to put them to rest today.
You have probably heard that doing lots of aerobic exercises is great for losing fats. While aerobic exercise do help cut down on body fats, too much of it can be a bad thing. You see, too much of aerobic exercises can result in you destroying your muscles after the fats have been removed. With less muscles, your body metabolic rate naturally slows down and that means less fat burning capabilities.
Hopefully, you can see the reason why you should not exercise excessively or you could have less muscles to stimulate body metabolic rate. Without sufficient muscles, your body will not be able to burn body fat efficiently. Our advice is that you should plan your cardio exercises properly. Bodyweight Training vs. Machines
A truly infected topic these days. Which is better?
Some experts say that if you want a better figure, you need to focus on doing your exercises on machines, as they allow you to add more weight and concentrate on working specific muscles as hard as you can.
I, along with many other experts, would have to disagree. Bodyweight training includes multi-joint exercises that target more than one muscle group and make your body strong and functional.
The fact that bodyweight training can be more challenging is probably a big reason why some will say that it is ineffective.
One of the best upper body exercises, and a TRUE bodyweight exercise is the pull-up.
Believe it or not, there are people who can sit on a machine or cable station and do pull-downs with hundreds of pounds attached - but they cannot do one SINGLE pull-up!
On the other hand, I don’t know anyone who can do a true pull-up, and cannot add a lot of weight when doing pull-downs.
